Cookie Policy

Effective date: 2026-05-09

This Cookie Policy explains how FortMind uses cookies and similar technologies on its website, what they do, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags. They allow a website to recognize your device, remember preferences, measure usage, and support security and integrity features.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary — required to deliver core functionality of the website, including language and locale routing, content security, session continuity, basic A/B test variant assignment, and protection against fraudulent or automated traffic. These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

Functional — remember your preferences and settings to provide a more consistent experience across visits.

Analytics and performance — help us understand how visitors interact with the website in aggregate so we can improve content, navigation, and performance. We configure analytics to respect privacy, including IP truncation where supported by the provider.

Security — used to detect and prevent abusive or automated activity, including bot-protection challenges on selected forms.

3. First- and third-party cookies

Some cookies are set directly by FortMind (first-party). Others are set by service providers acting on our behalf or in connection with embedded content (third-party), for example for analytics, error monitoring, or bot protection. Third-party providers process data under their own privacy notices and applicable processor agreements with us.

4. Bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on selected forms to distinguish human users from automated traffic. Turnstile uses minimal interactive challenges and does not display advertising or track you across unrelated websites.

5. Duration

Cookies may be session-based (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (retained for a defined period or until you delete them). Persistent cookies used by this website are configured to expire after a period proportionate to their purpose.

6. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also configure your browser to refuse non-essential cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect core functionality such as language switching, security checks, or A/B variant assignment.

For browser-specific instructions, refer to your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others provide detailed guides).

7. Do Not Track

Browsers may transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no consistent industry standard, the website does not currently respond differently to these signals. You can control cookies and tracking using the methods described above.

8. Updates

We update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
